He hails from a small village of Narayanpur Tatwara in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, where his roots are embedded in the simplicity of rural lifestyle which has intrigued him all along. He has been continuously documenting the art of tribal Meena women for past fifteen years. The subtlety of their art forms emerging out with the boldness of their lines and the minimalism in their Mandanas has always caught his imagination. His love for nature and his association with the art of Meena women has been at the center of his creations.

“As an artist my art has been inspired by the rural art forms including traditional art objects, textile, jewelry and the colorful costumes worn by the people of Rajasthan has shaped my new series of works”.
