How much do you charge for shipping? 

Shipping is FREE in North America and India.

Do you ship internationally?

If the Art is not what you ordered, or damaged or defective, or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, please email or call us ASAP and we will rectify our mistake. If for some reason we cannot solve the problem, we will issue a full refund. 

Limited edition prints cannot be exchanged or returned if nothing is wrong with it. In that case All Sales are Final.

All other returns should be sent back to Deccan Footprints with 10 days upon the receipt of the painting. We charge 20% restocking fee. Please contact us for return authorization.

How do I know when my order was shipped or when I can expect to receive it?
Once the art is ready to ship, you will receive an email with shipping information. We work with the artists directly in most cases and don't keep all the artworks in stock. The artworks are shipped internationally in most cases and must clear customs, so shipping time can take about 3 weeks. Please be patient! Yet, if you feel like it has gotten lost … email us and we will do our best to track it down!

What is the best way to contact Deccan Footprints?

The best way of contacting us is via email but if you are more comfortable talking, give us a call at (630) 442-0001. If you leave a message, we'll get back within 24 hours. However emailing will ensure a quicker response.

I saw something on your website that I love and now it is sold. When will it be available again?
Sorry once it is gone its gone. All art are one of a kind and cannot be reproduced unless they are limited or open edition prints or photographs produced with the permission from the artist. Sometimes similar works are available even though not posted. Email us and we can try to get something you like. No promises!

Can I have a look at the painting before buying it?

Unfortunately, that is not a possibility since we do not stock art here at Deccan Footprints. We take great care to ensure the image is as close to the real artwork as possible however it is understood that since each painting is individually painted there may be variations in shade and color.

Do you have additional works on the featured artist which is not here on the website?
Yes. Sometimes we carry a larger portfolio of works by certain artist. We can arrange a phone consultation to understand your requirement before we show them.

Do you sell framed art?

Since we are still figuring out a lot of stuff for this website we usually do not sell it framed. All canvas and paper art ships carefully rolled in tubes. However if you do wish it framed or stretched please call us once you have placed your order and we will try to help out in any way we can. Lets talk first!!

Will you commission a painting for me?
Commissioned art requires a lot of planning and understanding on both ends to create it.
We are not ready to take this on right now.

Will the prices of the paintings/prints available online change?
Since we do not stock any artworks, there are a couple of occasions that the prices may change without any prior notice or sometimes even after you place an order. Only after we get an online order we make an inquiry into the availability and current price the artist is requesting for the paintings/ limited edition prints. We understand this may cause inconvenience so please do email or call us to first inquire about it.  We do offer free consultation and will be more than happy to follow up with any artworks you are intertested in.  

Is your site secure?
Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. All online transactions are handled with industry-standard SSL encryption. We never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells us that you've paid and we ship you your stuff.
